Thank you Aunty Lois Cook for your Welcome to Country and stirring stories to bring this place and your people alive for us. We created a mandala, made of dirt and other things of the land from which we all came - speaking to the question: Who are you and what place do you come from?
Check in: What brought you here
Belonging. To step up and build it
My first chance to stop
Relaxing, good conversation and nurture my facilitator soul
Connection and learning
Be a part of something that builds people up, not knocks them down
I’ve been inspired in the past. I feel I’ve finally arrived and grounded. Taking leaps and learning. Bounce
Life is different now! Desire to unlearn. A new direction
Peace building. Encouragement and nurturing for the next thing coming
A retreat. Why shouldn’t I?
Relationships. Inspiration, nourish my soul
Time to be
Intensely strong call to be HERE, with my pack, making sense
Know more of Art of Hosting, travel, connect, work, to step into my next step
My day to day work doesn’t create as much shift as it should. Learning how to connect
Everything so far got me here! Self-nurture, restoration
Opportunity to connect. To find community that nourishes, be with like-minded people
Time out, sit in the sun, inspiration
The need to connect. Reinventing, feeling isolated, feeling real. Inspiration, support, fun
People want peace, looking for ‘islands of coherence’, contributing to the great shift
People asked me to be here! I desire to stop, connect, have fun
To learn and to share
There is a calling in me to show up and be part of the change. I felt this gathering would support that
Round 1 – What are we noticing in our / the world? Round 2 – What do I sense I’m being called to?
The harvest - part 1
We hosted a bingo harvest - Inviting each person to identify their key insights or questions inspired by the conversation. They wrote on paper and shared them one by one, one thing at a time. Ask for others to really listen and add to this item if they have something similar or close. This way, some natural clusters of meaning are created by the participants themselves. We were invited to do some silent clustering on the floor in real time. We invited questions or themes as headlines, and the harvest wasn't quite finished. To be continued Friday ...
Thank you John Dayman for this beautiful painting of our World Cafe
